Our chair from the rustic sensibility of a hand-forged metal base with tailored upholstery. Employing an ancient fabrication process, artisans hand hammer the metal bars to reveal an alive, imperfect and organic texture, a counterpoint to the frame's slender, tapered silhouette.
- Frame handcrafted of kiln-dried solid hardwood
- Reinforced joinery with corner blocking and mortise-and-tenon construction
- Sinuous spring suspension
- Forged of solid metal and hammered by hand
- Forged Brass frame is handcrafted of solid cast brass; Forged Pewter frame is handcrafted of solid cast stainless steel; Forged Bronze frame is crafted of patinated solid brass
- This item is artisan crafted with meticulous care. Given its handmade and hand-finished nature, variations in the metal work are to be expected and celebrated. Each item is unique and no two are exactly alike.
- Attached cushions are high-resilience polyurethane foam topped with polyfiber fill
